When is the Pligg documentation coming?

This is the only thing that's missing on your website, a clear documentations page

The forum is a bit messy for that...

Also check out the Admin Help English module, which is installed by default with Pligg 1.0. It adds a little question mark icon to most of the admin pages, when you click on the icon it displays useful information about the page you are viewing.

I've just installed fresh Pligg version with enabled Admin Help English module and a little question mark I have just in Categories tab, nowhere else... =(. I also would like to read normal documentation instead of searching forum....

Euhm no... i don't mean a forum kind of wiki or a forum search, just a plane text document with a proper layout and categories.

For example: start [SilverStripe Documentation]

Please consider this, good and easy findable documentation will generate Pligg a lot more users and will lower the questions in the forum

Wiki is the best spot to build that documentation. Unfortunately we haven't set aside much time to organize it in a way that is easy to navigate. The main reason for not having much documentation at this point is that we were frequently making huge changes to Pligg and won't really be at a stable enough point to provide clear documentation until 1.0 is out (which will be soon). I'll work on writing more documentation to go in the wiki (on the main wiki introduction page) so that things are clearly laid out after 1.0 is released.

I heartily agree with raamklaza. How can anyone get up to speed without proper documentation. A forum is not document...ation.

The Pligg wiki area functions as most other wikis, which are great for collaborating on documents. Users can start new articles, and edit existing ones.

I think it's clear that regardless if we did or didn't have documentation you wouldn't have read it anyway.. Otherwise you would have read it and not complained.. Our biggest problem now is not documentation its getting people to read it.
