Upload Module Problem

I just installed the Upload module version 1.1

i am having problem when upload image:
ERROR: Can't create thumbnail

set your permissions to 777 on upload folders

The error you are getting means you didn't follow the directions.

i juz installed it in my uninstalled module.

after set the permission to 777,i am still having error.

It still means you didn't follow the directions.
The directions say to chmod
modules/upload/attachments/ to 777
modules/upload/attachments/thumbnails/ to 777
