My upload module has no settings option, is there a fix for this? I tried reinstalling the module and now not only did nothing change all previous uploaded images do not load.
Threads like these always crack me up.
For some reason the ones that need the most help are always posted by people with screen names like this.
"Smartcannuck"
"PliggGenius"
"AmazingProgrammer"
"PliggGod".
I'll give you a hint "smartcannuck"
If you are not smart.. Don't add the word "smart" to your username.
Any and every-time you ask for help you will be chastised or flat out ignored.
I don't think anyone can help you.
All you posted was your problem.
You didn't provide any other details.
For all anyone knows, you deactivated the module and you're not "smart" enough to know that it will be listed in your inactivated module list.

Hello SmartDax,
I actually have the same problem. I am at a stage where I need help with pligg more than I can help others. When I get familiar with the system, I'll make sure I give back to the community and help others. I'll probably also do it without the kind of attitude you are showing.
With that said, smartcanuck, I have the same problem you do. Any help would be appreciated.
If you do not see a module listed in your uninstalled modules list. It means you've uploaded it incorrectly. Sometimes it can be caused by your zip utility program may be generating an extra folder while unzipping.
For example.. example.zip might have been unzipped as /example/example/files/
instead of /example/files/
Where as you were instructed to upload /example/files/
You might actually be uploading /example/example/files/

I actually have the module listed in my list of modules (see attached). The module is also working fine. I just don't have the settings icon next to it.

Any idea?
What browser are you using? Doesn't look like a standard web browser.
Screen cap from my browser shows setting icon.
Firefox. Some other modules actually have the "Settings" icon. See attached.
This is why I am surprised the Upload module does not have it...
Dax sorry for being new to pligg, my username has nothing to do with my programming skillls, it is the name of my website.
Romaaano,
Glad im not alone with this problem. Im wondering if this issue because of CHMOD. I currently use GoDaddy which is not CHMOD friendly. Maybe the "settings" or lack thereof has to do with incorrectly changing permissions? Let me know if you have set your permissions correctly.
