People cannot change their profiles!

hello:

I own http://www.pettellmedia.com/. People cannot change their profiles. When they try to change their profiles, these words come up: "Email is NOT part of the database" This is incorrect because people used their email to sign on.

How can this be fixed? Also, what caused the problem: is it the template or the coding?

Most likely this is caused by the template you are using. Try switching to the default template and see if you are still having the same issue.

Hey ChuckRoast:

(1) thank you for replying...
(2) I was using blue standard, and EVERY one has said good things about that! Ie, if there was a problem with the template, someone would have posted it on the wall... That is one reason I do not think it IS the template.
(3) I listened to you and changed my template. I changed back to westie. The problem still existed.
(4) PETtellmedia - Your Source for Social News and Networking, can you join and try it?
(5) Since it is not one of those things, what do you think it could be?
(6) I used godaddy.com to install the pligg. Ie, I set up a mysql database, downloaded pligg, and uploaded to the my website. Could it be that I did not install it correctly?
