Hello all,

I know what I am asking is ambitious, and not what the pligg developers had in mind, but I would like to use Pligg as a kind or idea rating system, where users could submit ideas (instead of stories) that might not have URLs associated with them.

Is this at all possible?

Browse through the configure section of the admin panel. There's an option to turn off the first step of the submission process so they don't have to enter a url.

Just encase anyone else is searching, and comes across this thread. We generally refer to this as an editorial.

and just in case that you can't find it:

login to your admin panel
goto configure
goto submit

change Show the URL Input Box to false
you may also want to change Require a URL when Submitting to false too

and if you don't want to show Editorial or want to change that text, change No URL text
