hello to all,

my members have a problem with the wrong referer in user.php (for bookmarklet) ... they click an error message appears ... What can I do?

could you give me the file I must change for this to work?

thx

apparently, it works except with a URL "internal" as http://www.mywebsite.fr/submit.php?u...te.fr/user.php

normal ?

HI Yankidank.
i have just finish installing Pligg 1.0.1. and everything is working fine but when i login into admin page a box pop with information when i click the [X] button on top right hand side. i get an error saying

Wrong Referrer 'http://mydomain.com/Pligg%201.0.1/admin/admin_index.php'

any idea?

I have remove the the check_referrer(); from the submit and submit_groups and i also edit /libs/html1.php to function check_referrer()
{
global $my_base_url, $my_pligg_base;

if (!strstr($_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'],$my_base_url.$my_pligg_base)){
die($_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] . '=' . $my_base_url.$my_pligg_base . 'Wrong Referrer');
}
}

but now what i get is just a blank page nothing on it just white page with no information

Oh alright i fixed it

well i just delete check_referrer();

another problem when i click on " My Site " i get a error saying URL is invalid or blocked: (http://www.mydomain.com/Pligg%201.0.1/user.php) ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

what now?

Could be a problem with the subfolder you have Pligg in. Try renaming it to just /pligg and change the settings and Admin > Configure > Location Installed

I can't beleive this is stil an issue in pligg 1.1.2 but this fix (comment out check_referrer() works still
