Assuming that you meant GoDaddy instead of DreamHost at the end of that post, I don't see why not. I believe lots of people have used them in the past, but I recall hearing some complaints. If you search the forums I'm sure you will find some helpful posts that will give you an impression of their web hosting compatibilitiy.
