    can you give us a link to your site? You should be able to click on the link in the notification and it should make you log in and then redirect you to the correct page to change your settings.

    At the top of the homepage there should be a link saying that your base url is not set and it also gives you a link to do it.

    I already resolved it. see below for config2.php

    $trackbackURL = "devtekrepublic.com";
    $my_base_url = 'devtekrepublic.com';
    $my_pligg_base = '';

    I had the same issue, but now it is familiar since a prior tutorial in installing pligg 7.0 whereby this was specified, ie, changing config2.php.

    Ash, do you think this :

    $trackbackURL = "yoursite.com";
    $my_base_url = 'yoursite.com';
    $my_pligg_base = '';

    is a good idea to include in your helpfull "installation read it" file?

    I'm glad i did the search and was hit with this thread, Yankidank's reminder of "searching" is finally sticking

    Thanks again pliggers and developers

    BTW, is Templates_C directory missing in the V8.2 download?

    Per "read me" a templates_c is to have a chmod 777, but i only found the "templates"directory. just an observation

    Some FTP clients do not upload empty folders. That's why people keep thinking that Pligg is missing a folder. It's there but their FTP client didn't upload it.
