    Question Taking the plunge

I am looking to start a pligg site. Domain and host already sorted.
I was going to crack on this weekend with it but I see there is a new version coming on with additional spam features.
    When is this due out?
I can hold off a week or two.
I will also be in the market for a premium template. What version of template will work with the upcoming version as I presume the updates are back end only.

They just had the last update a little over a week ago. It sounds like there will be some updates to some of the modules you can use though so I would say go ahead with the install and just upgrade the modules that are needed.

Good luck. I just upgraded an 8 year old website to pligg and have spend a good part of 200 hours of the last two weeks getting ready with going live on my site. I've been very happy with the features so far and have found it to be pretty simple to work with. I love smarty php (the template / caching system) and since Pligg uses these pretty well it has been a very positive migration so far.
