Pligg 1.0 RC4 test with ie7 using bookmarklet feature (profile) to submit links failed. Instead of getting to step 1 where you could submit link url, the page showed error "Wrong security code." Using template Magazeen.

On firefox 3.0.8, the error is "Wrong Referrer."

It's not a browser related problem, but we've removed the ability to form urls where it will pre-populate the submit form in submit step 1. This was designed to block both hacks and spammers. We will need to remove that bookmarklet link and perhaps come up with another method for users to quickly add stories.

Has this issue been resolved? The bookmarklet tool was such a great feature. And I see it is included in 1.0 RC5 so I'm hoping there's a fix for it.

1. There is no 1.0.2 release at this point, only SVN versions
2. We've answered a dozen times in other threads and even a wiki article titled "Wrong Referrer". In order for users to use the bookmarklet link you will need to remove the security check from submit.php.

I removed that security check but now I get a white screen when trying to bookmark a story.

EDIT: Nevermind. It was my stupid FTP ruining the format. I re-uploaded it and it works now.
