How do I upgrade my social news website?

    Hi guys!
I'm the webmaster of the new italian social news http://www.tlinky.com and I had Pligg 1.1.2 installed in my website until 2 hours ago, then I saw 1.1.3 came out and I decided to reinstall the script, but I want to know how I can upgrade my site without destroying and redoing my website.

If you modified the wistie template, rename it to something other than wistie (/templates/wistie).

Then upload all of the 1.1.3 files to your server, overwriting existing files.

Then run /install/upgrade.php to upgrade your database.

You're done! That is, as long as you aren't using a custom template. If you have a custom template there are a few files that still need to be upgraded, but I won't be going over that in this post.

    Step 1: Download Pligg 1.1.3
    Step 2: Download Pligg 1.1.2
Step 3: Compare the /templates/wistie/ directories between those 2 versions of Pligg using Winmerge. This will show you the files that have changed, as well as specific line changes. Apply those changes to your own template.

This is covered in the release notes. I suggest reading them again.
