Double check the sitemap URLs in your browser to see if they are working. If they are not, then check the module settings and readme file to make sure your permissions and such are correct.

I have no idea what you are using for your sitemap, you will have to figure that out yourself.

I thought you could get support at the forums? You mentioned a readme file I was asking which one and what part it will help me?

The problem is that the sitemap is including characters that are not supported by XML. I was (and am continuing to have) problems with this since I have not updated my own code.

The problem 99% of the time is with characters from users posts getting displayed within the XML file that are not allowed within XML. These can be just about any non alpha numeric characters (characters not a-z, 1-0). My guess is there is a single quote character in a title somewhere that was not sanatized that is breaking your sitemap.

What you can do is view the sitemap within IE, the error should say what line the error is occuring on or display some text. Search for that text and try to find which post is breaking the sitemap.

Yes it is as confusing as it sounds and is a real pain to try fixing.
