Google sitemaps

Hi! Anyone uses google sitemaps with their pligg site? How to do it?

Hi israszl

I am using google sitemaps for my pligg site.. It's actually quite simple.
After you confirm your site at google just go to http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ enter in your pligg site and click go... it will generate the sitemap and then allow you to save it as an XML file...

Then go back to google sitemaps and upload it..

Your done..

If you look at the link above you can see that many pages are already indexed. Will I get a benefit from Google Sitemaps?

Also, the free online xml sitemap generator couldn't finish the pages, because there were more than 500. Do you think it is worth installing the Unlimited Sitemap Generator? Thanks!

You could always do it offline by downloading

GSiteCrawler for free.

I use this sitemap generator:

http://www.auditmypc.com/site-maps.asp

It will create a sitemap and it will show you problematic pages, if you have any.

I have a pligg site which consists of 11,000 + pages. I need to build a site map for the whole pages .

I have tried GSite Grawler and it took me arround 4 complete days of waiting

to generate the site map and eventually I gave up .

Is there any tools that I can use similar to VB seo that is used to vBullitien so that I can easily generate the sitemap.

There is one from patchlog that i am currently using. I can't find the thread but the url to the sitemap is PatchLog | XML Sitemaps for Pligg
