Could Pligg Be Used To Create A Site Similar To Squidoo or

Hubpages? I'd like to have a site like that developed where people can publish their own pages and add video/advertising modules. I realize it would require heavy customization, but do you think pligg is suitable for this? Thank you for your help.

Pligg has many features and you can use it for many purposes and it can be used for having something like Squidoo too but it doen't have all features of it because pligg is something else. And it needs custom programming to be exactly like squidoo.
