I installed pligg.9.9.5 for a while ago on cs-tube.com/resources.

However my host needed to move the sites to a new server and I forgot to take a backup of the pligg database... I dont remember how the tables should be but now when I look I see some tables got no rows

These are the tables with no rows:

pligg_comments
pligg_feeds
pligg_feed_link
pligg_friends
pligg_messages
pligg_redirects
pligg_saved_links
pligg_trackbacks

Anyone know if this is normal or should these tables have rows?

I tried to make a comment when logged in as admin into the site but no comment where created I even couldn't find it in the admin panel. I didn't get any error message though. This doesn't feels normal.

If there is problem then I will be thinking on making a new installation.

Is there a yget template for latest pligg?! If not how can I make it work for latest pligg?

Thanks

Cmon please anyone tell me.

I have searched alot after a yget template for latest pligg but haven't found one.

Hmm just found one guide here:

Pligg 1.0.0 RC5

But it only work from 1.0 rc4-rc5 and for wistie template.

It seems like I am not the only one that are looking for yget template for pligg 1.0

http://forums.pligg.com/yget/17817-yget-rc4.html

Data cannot be held in thin air hence the requirement for a database, the above error clearly tells me you have no database to insert data into hence the no data/entries when you look in the admin.

If you don't have a backup how can you restore data? make a complete fresh install is your only option.

Well, I have a database with a total of 20 tables.

The thing is some tables dont got rows as pointed out above and I dont know if that is normal, as I dont remember if the tables above actually should have rows, which makes everything much more complicated for me.

Edit...

Since I dont know how to update the yget template for latest pligg, I wish there was a yget template for latest pligg.... Then I would reinstall everything with a smile...

Are those tables complete and populated with data rows that actually contain entries?

This kinda answers the first question of do you have any data missing = answer yes, all of it.

what has the yget template got to do with your database?

You mention this sentence below in your first post.

You state forgetting to take a backup from your host, do you have an old backup form your host in your possession and is it that your trying to install? If so it sounds incomplete. If not i have absolutely no idea what your actual question or problem is as your overall explanation is pretty disjointed.

If you have a backup SQL file you wouldn't need to remember what the tables are and without any rows you have no data retained from your site. therefore you have no database.

Start again and install a blank v1.0.0, by the sounds of things your data has gone forever and cannot be recover unless you get a backup form your previous host.

What you are saying doesn't help me in any way and I am too tired to ask the question again. The only person that can help me is the person that knows how the database of pligg 9.9.5 should be like and guide me.

Why I was talking about the yget template is because it doesn't seems like there is someone here that can help me or want to help me so I though I could install the latest version of pligg with a working yget template for it.

Since there isn't a working yget template for the latest pligg I now give up.
