Wierd charcters when uploading file

Wierd charcters when uploading file
When I upload an image to an avatar the file name is in a strange encoding.
I have a user called(with the space):
משתמש 1
but on the ftp it shows:
׳ž׳©׳×׳ž׳© 1_15.jpg
