JFusion (http://www.jfusion.org) has built an amazing utility that bridges Joomla to many other systems (SMF, Moodle, vBulletin, ...). They have posted a generic JFusion Joomla plugin here (http://www.jfusion.org/index.php/for...p=19281#p19281).

It would be great if Pligg had a JFusion plugin. With that one plugin, a site could integrate Pligg with a large number of other platforms -- and only have one registration/login, and use the best of each of the systems.

I have Joomla 1.5.9 and Pligg 1.0.0 RC4 bridged via the attached JFusion plugin that I just wrote.

It isn't pretty but it works and even supports dual-login, provided you are willing to hack your Pligg installation per my README.txt guidelines.

Would be great if others build & improve upon this

Here is an improved Jfusion Pligg plugin. The improvements are:
  • bugs in XML fixed
  • user.php improved so that less core-hacking of your pligg installation to get the dual-login bridging to work
  • readme.txt updated appropriately and moved outside of zipped plugin -- you must unzip the attached archive once in order to get readme.txt and the zip file that jfusion uses

HI, I'm trying to get this to work.

When I use the login checker on JFusion I get an error. I suppose this is because I'm not really sure what to put in all the boxes in the JFusion Pligg Plugin Configuration page.

What should I put in all the "Dual Login cURL Options" boxes?

Also, my logout.php that I create, should it be the exact same as login.php? Or what should I change on it?

Also, I don't know how to disable pligg registration so JFusion throws a warning there.

the login checker say that's okay but i still can't get pligg logged in

This post is very old But is nice.
I already test the Jfusion plugin for Joomla - Pligg You can login in Joomla and with any link go to your pligg with your username of joomla . Anyway not work for login from Pligg to Joomla. Any idea for make that?
