Formatting issues after upgrade
Hello,
After upgrading to Pligg 1.1.4 yesterday, I noticed I lost some formatting on my sidebars of my template. Would this be a pligg issue or a template issue?
FYI. I tried deleting the template cache but that didn't help.
Also, when I installed the new files, I deleted all except the ones told not too per the instructions; as well did not delete the template (theme) folder I am currently using b/c I didn't want to loss all my customizations to it. I assumed the upgrade wouldn't have any impact on these files.
Hopefully I'm not wrong. =)
Thanks for your help!

Okay, so it looks like reinstalling some mod files from my template fixed some formatting issues.
Still some gravatars uploaded b/4 the upgrade are no longer showing up....aaarggh. Not a huge deal... just interesting. Not sure why that happened.

Weren't you the one the other day that had a problem with the upgrade because you didn't follow the written directions? You actually failed to run the upgrade.php?
Sounds like your problem now is that you haven't updated your template. Template files updates are described in the release notes for every version.
Everyone would be better to point you in the right direction if you had said what version you were upgrading from. I'm thinking it's pre 1.1.X But everyone has to guess.

Wow, aren't you a ray of sunshine. FYI, I didn't forget to run the upgrade.php. I did do it, encounter an error (missing language file NOT in the 1.1.4 version) and forgot to run it again. But thanks for keeping count.
Anyway, I upgraded from 1.1.3 version and I'm not using wistie template, but thanks for your help nonetheless.

FYI the language file is included with Pligg 1.1.4. You most likely forgot to rename it and chmod it to the proper permissions.
If you upgraded to Pligg1.1.4 and are not using the default template and have not updated your template to the Pligg 1.1.4 standard, then you need to.
I am a beautiful ray of sunshine. I state facts. So the fact is, you didn't update correctly. I'm sorry I don't have the time to suger coat things to make you feel all warm and fuzzy.
You could have had no one answer. Would that make you feel better?

"You could have had no one answer. Would that make you feel better?" no that wouldn't have made me feel better (fyi). And can appreciate ppl saying like it is. I think that's why I like you so much
Cut me some slack. I know you've answered these questions a thousand times, but it's a first for me. We all have to learn somehow. Trial and error. It's how we learn and grow.
So go have a drink, enjoy your night and have a good chuckle on me. :
