Hi there:

I have a Pligg 1.0.0 install, without much customization other than header, footer and CSS modifications.

I cannot see my second page of users. It appears that this page is limited to 25, but there is no ‘Next page’ link. Unfortunately among my 26th to 29th users, there are spammers whom I cannot stop. I am very positive that when I did the mods, I never took out any links. (If anything, I added to it.)

The site is at fontpolice.org if anyone wishes to have a peek.

In addition, I would love to purge the database of people who have been marked ‘killspam’ but there appears to be no option to do so.

Can someone please advise how I can show the second page of users for starters? That seems to be the pressing issue for now. I have only been able to kill one “second-page spammer” by searching for his name within the database. There seems to be no other way to show them.

Regards,

Jack

You should be using the Admin panel to search and remove troublesome users. Go to Admin > Manage > Users.

I am doing that but, as I said, there is no way of seeing users no. 26 and up. This page only shows the first 25 users. How can I see the second page of users?

Don't you see page numbers at the bottom followed by a next » link? If you don't see page numbers at the bottom of the page please tell me what browser and computer operating system you are using. You could also try manually typing into the URL field yoursite.com/admin/admin_users.php?page=2 to get to the second page. You can also search for users from the Admin > Manage > Users area if you know the name of a user.

Thanks, Yankidank. I am using Firefox 3.0.5 and have tried this on both Windows XP and Vista. On both OSs I don’t get page numbers.

The page=2 method would be a good standby solution—thank you. I’ll definitely use this.

(The reason I was keen on seeing the second page was that I deleted some posts from a spammer, but forgot to note down the name. I’ll remember it when I see it.)

Yankidank, just to follow up, I have gone back to the page and do see:

« previous 1 next »

But this is greyed out and barely visible. None of these words are clickable. But I also know there are two pages there.

Does anything show up when you manually type in the ?page=2 method? If so then there might be a problem with the admin users area not showing all of the pages in the footer pagination.

Hi Yankidank: yes, the ?page=2 method works fine, thank you! I began using that as soon as you suggested it.

Here’s another weird one: the page links at the bottom of the page suddenly began working, and as of yesterday they were no longer greyed out. They have never worked prior to then. I wish I had taken some screen shots as I know this is hard to believe. No changes were made to the installation during this time; Pligg just decided on its own to start showing the links properly!

I have the same problem. I am using the latest pligg version.

When I add "admin_users.php?page=2" I see the second page, and the "Previous" button changes to a blue color from light gray color, and I am able to return to page one using such method. But once in page 1, the "next" is colored light grey and cannot go to the second page.

I tried both Explorer and Firefox, and the problem persists. If someone wants to take a look, my site is http://www.respuestasdeamor.com

Thank you.
