/upcoming is in the page menu when viewing Upcoming News, but for some reason my bottom page menu is missing /published from the path after my upgrade to 1.0

http :// www .domain.com/page/2
should be
http :// www .domain.com/published/page/2

Any suggestions appreciated.

We altered the URL structure for published pages. It made no sense to me to make the second page of published stories /published/page/2 so we change it to just /page/2. Since your homepage is / , I thought that it would make a lot more sense that the page URL for it would be /page/2/. Upcoming is still /upcoming/page/2/ since your upcoming page is normally /upcoming/. Hopefully that makes sense.

If the new URLs aren't working make sure that you've updated your .htaccess file using the one included with Pligg 1.0.0.

Thank you, just as you suggested.

a related bug:
url meth 2 (seo)
v.1 final.

links are being rewritten upcoming/mycategory/ or upcoming/mycategory2/ upcoming/mycategory3/

yet all are retrieving data from:
/upcoming/

is this intended or is it a bug?
for the moment i have disabled the submenu (lower/bottom menu whateva) when a use goes to upcoming so all upcoming stories are listed in upcoming only...

make sense? or am i missing something.

Not sure if I understand your last post, but when you are on the Upcoming page the category links will all be /upcoming/category links to allow you to sort through the Upcoming section. Then if you click to the Published link it should change the Upcoming category that you are on to the same category under Published.
If this isn't related to the problem you are talking about please let me know and try to describe your problem again.

Hi Yankidank, thanks for the quick response...

OK the issue I am seeing may be to do with my upcoming section:
the /upcoming/category(s)/ don't work for me - instead of there being a filter for upcoming/category it simply lists *all* of the upcoming stories -

e.g. instead of behaving as it does in the published sections:

(Published) http://url.com/mycategory1 lists only stories belonging to mycategory1

(Upcoming) http://url.com/upcoming/mycategory1 lists all the stories that are upcoming (e.g. all stories in mycategory1, mycategory2, mycategory3 etc.)

cheers.

Check to make sure that you have customized your .htaccess file and are using the latest version. You could also try reuploading /libs/html1.php.
