    Failed (time out)

    Hi I recently bought the "media master module" and installed it following all the instructions in the read Me file, but with it i can only be able to upload pictures and audio files but not the video file. If i upload a video file which is supported either i get this error message "Failed (time out)"

    or if it loads the file and i submit it , the link wont do anything if clicket on it in the upcoming page.

    Can some one help me here, please.

    I was tried even to reduce the capacity upload to 1mb, thinking that may be the files were too big, even 1mb maximum capacity didnīt help.

    Hi Pat2011

    The Media Master module does not control uploading or the limits.
    Limits are set in the Pligg Upload module. However, if you are on a shared hosting environment the maximum upload limits are controlled by your php.ini file which is set by the host. I would suggest contacting your host to have them raise your max upload limit.

    Best Regards.

    Hi Chuckroast, thanks for the reply, i contacted my webhost and we tried to upload a video far less than the limit i have (12mb) but still the video does not play in the post(upcoming). They pointed out that it should be the "plug in" problem.

    Please provide me a link to your site where you've uploaded the video so I can take a look... Like I said before the media master module doesn't handle uploading. All it does is look at see what the file type of an uploaded file is and generate the proper embed code for it. So whatever the problem ends up being, it's actually not going to be related to the media master module.

    Hi Chuck, here is the link to my site (www.afriweb.org), I have put two examples one for audio file (music to relax), which works perfectly and the other for video file (video 0014mp4), which for some reason donīt play. Examples link ishttp://afriweb.org/upcoming.php).

    I have also set you this normal user login details for you to also test as a user;

    user name="penn"
    password="test123"

    If i missed out something let me know.

    Thanks.

    Hi Pat2011

    Thank you for providing the test user login details.. That always saves a lot of time. I wish more users would do that.

    I have found that the structure of MP4 embedding has now been changed slightly so I'm going to update the module to reflect that. I should have it available after this weekend. I'll notify you on this thread when it's available to download from your Pligg Pro Account.

    As for the timeout issue with the upload module.. The host may have increased your maximum file upload size but not the max_execution_time in the INI file.. I would suggest contacting them again and ask them to increase the max_execution_time.
    Also something to note, it also could be an issue with how much ram they are allocating for you.

    Best Regards

    I've updated the module to be compatible with the latest mp4 embedding standard. You can download it from your Pligg Pro Account. You should only need to replace media_master/templates/player_inject_end.tpl

    Pat2011.
    After you've uploaded the new file.. Please give me another example link after you've cleared your cache from Admin> Clear Template Cache.

    Your time-out issue still has nothing to do with the media master module. You're going to need to clear that up with your host.
