Hi,

I am new to pligg, I have some experience with wordpress but I´m not too much of a programmer, so I find Pligg quite difficult, so please if you could help...

1. I have uploaded pligg at www.socialnews.allonlinemarketing.com as an extra for my site about Internet Marketing Information I am building All online Marketing

2. It´s working, I would like to customize it though, I wanted to have some green look to be according with the main site style, so I have tried to upload a template i liked Digital Nature. It doesnt work so I guess I will try to change some colors in the css. You know where I could change the grey areas for a light green ones.

3. Would it be posible to put some logo header?

4. I would like to add my Google analytics code for this pligg, where do I paste it?

5. I would like to put some adsense ads on the right. Where do I paste my adsense code?

6. I know I can paste some code in my wordpress in the sides by altering some files in the template I´m using. Is it possible to do this in pligg? Where? Lets say I wanted to put some image on the right lateral or a registration form code from aweber or mailchimp. Can this be done?

As you see I´m very newbie with this. Anyone could give me a little help, please?

Thanx ABC, anything a little bit more explicit?

I have seen some files header.tpl, footer.tpl.. can I paste javascript there?
And for the template colour and header logo customization?

Anyone that uses this default template,please?

• /templates/wistie/css/style.css and other css files are responsible for customizing the colors.
• /templates/wistie/header.tpl would be where you would insert a logo.
• /templates/wistie/footer.tpl is where you should place analytics code. Make sure that you wrap it in {literal} and {/literal} tags. Search the forums for a more descriptive example.
• /templates/wistie/sidebar.tpl or /templates/wistie/sidebar2.tpl is where you would place ads. You might also want to place some in /templates/wistie/link_summary.tpl which is where the story content is templated from.
• I'm not sure what you mean from #6.
