Is there any way to automatically populate the story description with the link's meta description, similar to how it works for the title? I know most social bookmarking sites do this, I'm not sure why it wouldn't happen in Pligg by default.

I hadn't thought of trying to do this before. Meta descriptions aren't set on a lot of sites, but it's not a bad idea.

I'm guessing it wouldnt be too hard, since it already does this for the title. I'm new to pligg so havent had a chance to dig into the code yet...

I just wrote some code to make this possible. Here's what you will need to do to make your Pligg templates compatible with this feature on the next Pligg CMS update:

Open: /templates/wistie/submit_step_2.tpl
Find:

{$submit_content}

Replace with:

{if $submit_url_description}{$submit_url_description}{/if}{$submit_content}

So this looks like it's working for some sites but not others. For example, this works for Pligg.com but not buy.com, which has a description. Any ideas why it works for some but not others?
