I noticed that some members on my site are putting links in comments. I thought I'd add rel="nofollow" to the utils file but that causes all links to be no follow...

ie: function text_to_html($string)

I wonder if there is a way to add nofollow to comment links only?

Any ideas?

Also, this may be something to think about in future versions - an option to set nofollow on comment links or to disallow comment links all together?

We just turned off links in comments altogether in the SVN version. I'll consider giving some more options in an upcoming version.

Just released a module designed for the next Pligg update. It will convert http:// text into links and you can set whether it should do this in comments or stories (or both). You can also set if you want to make the links rel="nofollow". See the screenshot below. If you want to try it out now you can get the module from the SVN.

@Yankidank - That is almost perfect! I'm so glad to see you guys are working on this. I wonder if I can make a small suggestion?

Convert Links In Stories - True/False
Make Story Links NoFollow - True/False
Convert Links In Comments - True/False
Make Comment Links NoFollow - True/False

I say this because people may like to allow follow links to the story authors, but not allow follow links to the commenter.

Would this be possible?

Again, huge thanks for this!

Perhaps also add open link in new window option for comment links...
