Gravity - For Popular Posts

I am looking for a Mod to create a gravity environment for Pligg 1.1.5. I would like to have articles/stories to be able to travel in a different way than just fro Upcoming ---> Published --> then pushed to the bottom of the pile by the next article/story(s) that makes it to the published page.

I had modified the code on a 0.95 or 0.97 sites and really liked the way it would shuffle the stories. Here is the old discussion: http://forums.pligg.com/questions-co...ould-rock.html

Has anyone attempted to accomplish something like this?

I'd also be really interested in Gravity "reddit-style" voting. I see that dollars5 mentioned that you can buy a module for it from him, but it seems he hasn't been active on here for a while now? Can the pligg store start selling this module?

I contacted dollars5 and they said that the gravity voting module is for the older version of pligg and wont work for the new version. Anyone willing take a stab at making a new one? The skill level would definitely be above my head but there seems to be a decent amount of demand to charge for it.

Did dollars5 express any interest in making an update?

I would be willing to contribute towards a new version.
