I first want to say this entire project is absolutely great, and I've had a lot of fun familiarizing myself with everything Pligg has to offer... so thanks to everyone who made this possible. I just installed everything on my server and it's running free of any issues so far... but now it's time to get my hands dirty...

I don't want to create a site that follows the normal "news feed" structure, and want to allow users to post "stories" without the requirement of a URL. I have good reason for this, and understand the issues this can raise. Is there an easy way to remove this requirement? I tried doing some digging on my own, but it seems the URL is tied to a lot of things.. maybe someone can point me in the right direction?

Admins can delete this... I just found the answer in a different post (I swear I searched for this before posting!)

The answer for anyone interested is to use the admin panel and set "Require a URL when Submitting" to False.

Admin -> configure -> submit -> Require a URL when Submitting -> false
