Do you think there's a safe way to do this? (Automatically add category/story rewrite rules to .htaccess)

I want to let users add categories and all of this is not going to work if those rewrite rules are not added automatically.

Actually I think it will be difficult or you would have integrated it a long time ago.


Anyway, keep up the good work on Pligg!

You actually don't need to add the code to the .htaccess file anymore for it to work. We still recommend that users do it just in case, but I think as of 1.0.0 final you shouldn't need to edit the .htaccess file unless you installed on a subdomain or subdirectory.
