I'm investigating the possibility of using Pligg on one or more web sites and did a test install yesterday. Didn't have any real problems getting things setup and running - including adding a second category beyond the default "news". This morning I attempted to do some more "category managing" but can't get any new categories added. Every time I filled in the information for a new category and clicked the "Add Category" button the browser screen would refresh and nothing would be added. Checked the database to verify and there were no new categories.
Thought it might be a browser/javascript problem so I tried different browsers and different PCs. Still no luck, same problem. Finally decided to do a complete delete and re-install, including dropping the database tables. Went back into the Admin section - same problem is still occurring.
Needless to say, this seems very, very strange. Categories add fine yesterday, absolutely 100% refuse to cooperate today. Anybody have any insight on this? Did a forum search and didn't see anything that sounded the same.
