Hi All,

I'm facing with a crucial problem. In submission step 2, if some inputs needed to be filled are blank, it gives error. This is the desired result, however when I hit the back button which triggers window.history.go(-1), it resubmits the story and all the filled input boxes are cleared.

Indeed, it works fine in IE, but in FF doesn't.

Thanks in advance...

The fix is included with 1.0.0. Your profile shows that you are using 9.9.0 Beta so you would need to upgrade your entire site to get the fix. The submission process in 1.0.0 saves the input fields in case they need to go back a step to step 2 after seeing an error message.

Thanks for your reply. I can't upgrade it, because I made lots of changes, added new specialties. Does it save input fields using db or another method? If you show me the way, I can figure it out myself.

Hi @ozlegolas ,

this could not be much of an advice since this probably came to your mind, but you can download the 1.0 version and then compare the files with your installation using the linux udiff tool or some other windows visual tool for comparing files. Since you know what exactly you are looking for, you can limit the comparison to a small number of files, starting from submit.php, the js files that it refers to, etc.
I don't believe that such information would be kept in db, probably in the user's session, but that is just a suggestion.

Regards,
Steliyan

Thanks for your suggestion steliyan. I was jus hoping to find a easier way to fix the problem. I thought maybe someone fixed this problem for the earlier versions.
Most probably, I will do as you adviced.
