Hi to all,

First i want to say Well done! to Yankidank and all the developers for the great job you are doing.

Well i have a pligg 1.0.0 and i selected on my SEO configuration the first option, i mean, Non-SEO Links. Example: /story.php?title=Example-Title. Now i would like to change two second option, url friendly option two SEO configuration.

I did all right, select the option, renamed htaccess.default to .htaccess and i included my own categories rules. But how i can fix the 301 redirections for all the existing urls.
I tried to put [R=301,L] after all Rewrite rules in the file but i got an apache error. I just got stuck, do you have any ideas for the best way to redirect all the urls?

Do you guys think that is a good idea to change all the urls now that i have over 37.000 url indexed on Google, do you think i will get a penalty or it is not a problem for those quantity of urls????

Hope from ear you soon

Thx a lot!!

Gracias!

I think just by changing URL methods it automatically forwards the old URLs (not sure if its via 301 redirect code) to the new SEO enhanced URL, so you shouldn't have to do anything.

Hi Yankidank!

Well i tried but the forwards are not working.

i did all the "Step by Step Instructions" from the URL Method and the mod rewrite module is on but the link i have indexed are not redirecting correctly.
The old links are pointing to themselves, so i am getting duplicate content, same pages with 2 different urls.

Example:
I have Esportes | Mexame
and i want to forward automatically for Google, spiders and also users to Esportes | Mexame
Here the is a part of my .htaccess file:
RewriteRule ^(all|internet|esportes)/?$ ?category=$1 [L]

I donīt know how to get the 301 redirections and the second url method is not forwarding the urls.

Thx for your help.

Sorry, but we can't handle to support each individual user with every request. There isn't enough time and we aren't being paid to help users address custom issues.
