Remove New Story text box on top of main page

I am using Facelook template with a series modules but the question top of mind is how do I remove input text box for submitting stories since one can just click on the "share" button next to it to submit a story without entering any text. That text box allows for text or URLs, it does not seem to work as I would like it to and just removing it would be ideal. I would just change the label on the share button to "submit a new story here" which will open up the story submitter and media uploader page.

It would be best to include a link to your site so we can see what you mean. I haven't checked out the facebook template at all so I'm just guessing here.

So you do not want someone to need to type in a URL or test prior to clicking on the submit story button?

The easist solution I can think of without having to change any code with how the submission works (and just some HTML) would be to find the input text field, add a default text value (like type in site URL here) and set the input type from text to hidden. That way its still there, has a value but is not displayed.
