Hi!
I have one basic question and i hope there is an answer since i ve already searched this forum but didnt find anything completely related.
Does Pligg latest stable version 1.0.1 support utf8 encoding?

You'll have to be a bit more specific about what you are trying to do. I believe 1.0.1 will work with with most UTF encoded languages. That means submitted stories, the language file and other elements should work fine. We are making some further improvements that will be out in 1.0.2 in a couple weeks.

Thank you for the reply.
To be more specific, i have installed pligg 1.0.1 and tried to create a page using Greek language, while it shows fine in the menu, when clicked the url that appears in my address bar has "%%%" symbols in it which from what i know is lack of utf8 support.

You may need to add the Greek alphabet to the /languages/translit.txt file or manually change the URL for the category under the category URL field on the admin category manager page.

It would be useful if you provided us with an example to test out.

Plz visit this url:
http://www.proistamenos.gr/
and click the category "ΑΝΕΚΔΟΤΑ" under "Published News"
when new page opens check out the url that has strange characters
