It seems that the RSS Importer module is not included in the latest version of Pligg or am I missing something? Is there anywhere to get this module from? I have searched around and have not found it and RSS Import is one of the features I was looking for in Pligg.

The way I did it: Just download it from the 1.0.1 download package and move it to your modules folder. Worked for me.

I tried what was suggested (copy module folder from earlier download of pligg and then adding the module to 1.0.3 version and then installing it) and it didn't work.

Getting this error message when I click the RSS Importer Module from Admin main screen.
Fatal error: Class 'QuickEIP' not found in /home/content/i/a/m/iamsingle/html/modules/rss_import/rss_import_main.php on line 150

Is RSS importer not supported any more?

RSS Importer v0.9 should work fine with pligg v1.0.3b. It does not come packaged with v1.0.3b for some reason but if you download v1.0.1 from the download forum you can grab it from there and upload it to your pligg site.

As for supported i imagine the Pligg team will keep this functional, they may not add new features though.

I tested it, RSS Importer v0.9 from Pligg 1.0.1 package works well on Pligg 1.0.3.

Ok guys i installed the the rss module for 1.0.3 succesfull.I do the settings like the video tutorial
i create 3 fields

title > link_title
link > link_url
description > link_content

then i link to
Yahoo! News: Top Stories

If i try to import the rss i get this message

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_config_vars() on a non-object in /var/www/web176/html/libs/link.php on line 916

and if i go to upcoming page and press the link of imported rss i will go to a error page not to the site

the url look like this

All the imported links look like this and all dont work, why....

I am a newbie to both pligg and PHP - otherwise an advanced .NET developer. I am trying hard to use Pligg.

I request the administrators to please resolve the RSS Importer issue - with a help file or howto tutorial on getting this going in the 1.0.3b version.
