    Question Viewing discarded posts?

Sorry if the answer is obvious to this question:

I just finished reading this post and like the idea of sending all stories to the discard 'pile'. My question is - how do you view the dicarded stories? Is there a funtion in admin panel that I missed?

Also, is it possible to completely delete a story without using phpmyadmin? There is another post relating to this but the question wasn't answered.

    Thanks

I'm having the same issue. When a user quits somewhere during the posting a link process it leaves the link in a "discard" state. Where can I see those? Do I have to delete them from the db?

    Update, Discarded posts viewable

Thanks to ash for writing this mod to let you view discarded posts. Now, I'm feeling a bit silly here, but after searching the forum I can't figure out what happens to these mysterious "discarded" stories. Do they ever get deleted? It would have been nice to put a "delete" story button in the discarded.php. Maybe I'll do that if they don't get deleted automatically.

We've added a mod that will display a warning message if you try to click away from a story if you haven't submitted it yet.

A dev (in training) is working on this at the moment.

    phpmyadmin?

Until this is becomes a part of the stable release of Pligg, is it ok just to use phpmyadmin to delete any posts with a discard status or are there other dependencies that make deleting discarded stories more complicated?

phpmyadmin should work fine. Sure, there are other things in the database that were created by the story (like votes and tags) but they shouldn't cause any harm when deleting the story.
