I have Tell A Friend working perfectly in Firefox, but getting a Javascript runtime error in IE8 - specifically here...

line 337 in the debugger -- target2.innerHTML = xvotesString[htmlid];

this is in the function show_recommend

Suggestions?

OK and this should have gone in Questions and Comments, but I don't see where to delete my post

Relax.. Nobody deleted your post...
Although you didn't provide enough information for anyone to help you.
You left out some common sense information like:
Pligg Version:
Template Name::
PHP versioin:
MySQL version:

With your lack of information I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that you didn't read any documentation. You then uploaded a template that is not made for your version of Pligg you are running.. You then automatically assumed it's a problem with the CMS.

Sorry for the lack of info, but found the problem. For some reason IE 8 needed the span tag to be a div to display the tell a friend window.

made the change in link_summary.tpl -- <div id="emailto-{$link_shakebox_index}" style="display:none"></div>

FYI... using the Fusion template, Pligg ver 1.0.1, PHP 5.2.8, MySQL 5.0

In no way did I lay blame on the CMS. I was merely seeking a suggestion for my issue.

Thanks

Pligg version - 1.0.3b
Template - thestandard (and wistie also)
Host - JustHost
Problem - "tell-a-friend" doesn't work in any browsers (IE, FireFox & Chrome).
Addional - I followed every steps when I installed.
But I found some steps are already done before I did.
Eg., I didn't need to change "settings.php.default" to "settings.php", It's originally "settings.php".
I never change any code, add any new modules.
* Please reply as fast as you can, I like Pligg very much.
