I've moved my site to another server, it seems that everything is working (sumbmiting, uploading, voting, private messaging, comments etc.) but if the vote count reaches the predefined value, the story stays as queued.

I've checked the database, the votes are there correctly, the story is there, I've reset the vote limit, I've tried this with many stories, I've reset the CHMODs after copying, but it doesn't help.

Any ideas what can be wrong? Please help.

Probably something to do with the number of days a story has been in the upcoming section being longer than the number of days allowed to let it become published. The default value is 10 days, so if a story is 11 days old and gets the number of votes to go published it will not be pushed to published.

Admin > Configure > Voting > Days to publish

Thank you for your time to help. That was a great idea, and it seemed to be logical, if example the new server's date would have been set incoccertly, I double checked it and it wasn't the case.

Finally I've figured out: I've added Twitter functionality to my site, and the function is inside the publish function. It called the curl function which is not implemented on my new server so the store function after it was never executed. A nice, hard to find bug.

Thanks again for your fast reply.

Don't take this wrong, but if that is your only problem after switching servers (compared to others) you done GOOD!

Thanks Now that I've customized both the engine and the theme, I'm quite happy with the results: IttaHelye - Friss netes csemegék forrása
