Hi,

I would like to install a blog (wordpress) of my pligg website. I would like to know if I would have any problems if I install on www.mydomain.com/blog.

I'm asking that because if I type my domain/blog instead of having a 404 page I'm redirect to the home page, so I just would like to know if I install the blog it's not going to screw up things.

If you are using Pligg's SEO URLs you may need to add a line in the htaccess file so that it doesn't carry over the htaccess rules into the Wordpress directory. Something like:

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/?blog

Thanks Yanki, however, I didn't understand very well, (sorry I'm a noob for pligg stuff).
I'm using the URL Method 2, so I guess I have to add that line, right?

If I have to add that line, there is a better location on the htaccess for me to put that line?

Like after the code (that I inserted) which is provided at the categories page, so the URL Method 2 could work?

First, try seeing if WP works correctly without making any edits to the .htaccess file. I'm not too handy with htaccess rewrites so I really don't want to offer much advise on the correct modifications should you need them.

Since I'm using the URL method 2, I didn't need to change anything on the .htaccess. Everything so far is working perfect.

im using pligg for subfolder and wordpress in root.
the problem is wordpress htaccess cover all the pligg site and every time i click on pligg site it will show the wordpress Not Found page.

i have insert

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/?blog

to wordpress .htaccess
but nothing change.

This is a Pligg forum.
You would be better off posting in a Wordpress forum since your problem is with Wordpress and not with Pligg.
