Learn to create new modules

Hello, I am listting to use Pligg for the first time, and I am a little unsure on how to build a module, and who to place it.

Is there a tutorial that allows a simple "Hello World" module, so I can understand the concept and framework.

I am looking to change voting, to allow a user to be voted as well as articles.

I also may need to change the ways it displays the articles and comments, so I think I may need to re-create a whole new module from scratch to pull what I want together.

Please can someone help direct me on where to look for a blow by blow tut.
