Strange Pligg upgrade errors
Hey guys,
Thanks for looking at my question.
I've spent a couple days trying to troubleshoot the following issues. I've searched the forums extensively and I have tried several different things to fix this problem on my own and I'm at a loss so I thought I'd ask for a bit of help.
Please note that I've attempted the following to address the below issues; emptied the caches, rewrote .htaccess with the new version, read the read me thoroughly, etc.
When I upgrade from I think it was 1.3.1 to 1.2.0 the upgrade is successful, but some strange things happen:
1.) My site's title and description as well as certain written sections have reset to the default.
2.) The admin panel does not have the new look (where items can be organized) but rather has the old admin panel.
3.) The Modules section is entirely blank.
I'm now attempting my third restore, at which point I will try to reinstall the files and run the upgrade again.
Any input is appreciated.
Thank you

UPDATE: I have tried an additional upgrade attempt and I'm still encountering these issues.
Are these symptoms of the template not being compatible with 1.2.0? I'm using the arthemia one; I have tried to swap back to the default, wistie, but even after CHMOD'ing /templates/ it's still not registering in the admin panel.
Thank you

Alright, it's official. I kept the upgraded version and sure enough, my server load decreased significantly.
I've restored it because while the DB is solid, the site is at default settings. I'm curious if this is a template problem; but the info on troubleshooting Pligg upgrades is pretty sparse.
In any case, it's very important to me to get this site under control. I'm willing to pay some $ for assistance from someone who knows what they're doing.
Admins: I've looked in the Pro Shop for any kind of upgrade services and found none. If this is something you guys offer please lmk.
Thank you

Hello,
My host suspended my account today - due entirely to Pligg.
I will pay $ for some assistance in fixing these upgrade errors and getting these SQL loads under control.
Thank you
