After edit -1 behind url

When I change the comment of a story the url also changes.

The normal url was Spelletjes/PaxCon-Game/ and after the comment change it is Spelletjes/PaxCon-Game-1/

Does anybody know how to change it?

I was able to duplicate this by going into "edit title or description" and changing nothing and clicking save. It added the "-1" to the edit of the link. Doing it again did not change to "-2".

I've tried also to change nothing and it changed to -1.

But what code made this change?
