best way to use sitemap.xml for pligg 1.2.0?
i want all my posts to be in googles search engine, and for every post to show up in google searches.
i have spend the entire afternoon trying out year old unsupported modules and tweaks, but i have found nothing i think works well.
it should be the simpliest thing in the world. i have even tried to generate some sitemap.xml files through googles recommended apps for doing so and adding them to my account in google webmaster
there MUST be a easy way to have my pligg posts show up in google searches. can someone help with directing me to a good way of automatically keeping my site updated in google searches

Google is not easy.
There is no magic button when it comes to indexing.
Try this....
Take all your rss feeds from the categories...
Use Yahoo Pipes and mix the feeds up to create a new feed...
Then ping THAT feed (The pipe) using Pingler and and Bulkping

ok.. i have found even simpler ways just googling there are alot of simple online xml generators online..
i was hoping that someone knew of a module that worked with 1.2.0.
the thing is.. as i understand it. a magic button, its a pretty simple module or feature to have, every other cms and scripts i have tried out have had it as a standard feature
i really miss showing up in google web searches

it should be a very simple module to make for someone who knows what they are doing.
this works for me:
http://forums.pligg.com/free-modules...tml#post116334
sort of.. it indexes about 80 posts no matter how big a limit i edit it too, and it works as a .php and not as a sitemap.xml file.. i would prefer to manually press "ping google" in some module..
hope someone can help with a good way to get it working.
places like this: Free XML Sitemap Generator indexes in VERY strange ways. it creates categories that it drags in from links, and end up just making it a huge sitemap that really doesnt work well at all
