Hit a brick wall with SEO method 2
I installed Pligg beautifully. No problems whatsoever. The coders and the founders made it so easy to do, great job.
Anyway, I followed instructions, deleted old .htaccess file, renamed the htaccess.default to .htaccess after going to Admin Panel > Config > SEO and switch to the second method.
Here is the weird part: When I go to my website, the topmost menu (upcoming news, published news, submit a story, etc) work perfectly with the shortened, SEO friendly URL.
HOWEVER, the menu below (the categories I created) do not work for some reason. I get this error message:
The page you were looking for doesn't exist!
It may have been removed or you may have arrived here by using a bad URL
Try searching for the article you are looking for.
Visit the Homepage to see the most recent stories.
Browse
categories and tags to find a related story.
I didn't edit the .htaccess file because after researching the forums, there is no need to edit the .htaccess file .
So what's the problem here? I'm so lost right now.
Thanks for any help!

Never mind...found the problem. Turns out I didn't name the correct category URL.
