New to Pligg and looking for suggestions

I am new to Pligg and I am looking for suggestions.

The issue I am having now is the fact that I know exactly what I want but I do not know how to get it. I have just successfully installed Pligg and I have this home page My Site - Your Source for Social News and Networking

It does not look like what I am wanting. I want to use Pligg in coordination with some of my web pages on Gelsana.com such as this one http://www.gelsana.com/Deltav.html where the bold captions are accompanied with an up and down arrow so that people can vote something up or down and the number of votes is displayed. A typical Pligg page. But the page I have just after installation looks nothing like this and I do not know what to do next.

Are you expecting Pligg to magically fit into your website's design? Pligg comes with a template called "wistie" and you will need to modify it to meet your expectations, just like how you would need to modify any other CMS or HTML web site.

You will need to edit .TPL files for layout and .CSS files for the appearance of the elements within the site.

    Hi,
    quick question.
1] which .tpl file is used for the index page
2] which .tpl file is used for profile page?
Also, i want to edit user profile link and have it go to user.php?login=USERNAME&view=published instead of user.php?login=USERNAME Is there a quick way to do this so where ever it has a link to user profile page, it is linked to their published page instead?
    Thanks!

OK, I do not know how I got two accounts.
How can I get the other one deleted?

    I like this one better.

I first need to get my feet off the ground, so to speak, and become familiar with the PLIGG system and what it all means. So first I will try to create a group and then maybe return to this discussion thread.

Here is the next error and order of business:
