URL's with QueryStrings
Hi Guys.
I've searched the forums, but wasn't able to see anything about allowing URL's with querystrings as pligg story submissions. Anyone gotten around this, or is it too big of a security issue.
Thanks.

Could you provide an example URL? I think Pligg can usually handle most characters in the submission URL.

Any URL with a "?" in it, seems to trigger a (URL is invalid or blocked) message. I've checked all the antispam files and that doesn't seem to be the blocking factor. So no idea here, but several people have said they tried and have no luck either.
Thanks for your help Yankidank.

Ok, it's definitely the antispam. I disabled it and now I can add urls with query strings. I re-enabled it and now the querystrings are still going through. I have no idea, but it's working now!
Thanks!

Hey Guys!
Back again. It seems to have popped up again. It seems as though a url like this, [http://www.blah.com?blah=blah] fails, but if you add a slash before the question mark (/?) It is accepted. This would pass, [http://www.blah.com/blah=blah]. I'm not sure if that will cause a problem with the links effectiveness or tracking, but just thought I'd pop that here.
Anyone else have this issue? Yankidank, any reason this would happen?
Thanks
