I know this was an issue for a while, and I haven't found a solution yet. Maybe I'm just missing it.

My host installed Pligg for me with a username and password for the admin account. I went through everything and set up Pligg with no issue using the assigned username and password for the database. However, I don't want my admin (GOD) account to be a series of random letters and numbers. I want to use my name instead.

I don't want my admin account to say a29fkhq, I want it to say Casey so people know who I am.

When I go to manage users and click on 'edit user data' I get the same 'Access Denied' error that people were complaining about a while back. I can not edit my own account's data.

Yes I have God permissions, and I'm the only user account. This is a new install. There is no issue with permissions, or browsers as some have suggested in the past.

I'm trying to avoid creating another user with the username I want with God permissions just so people know who I am when I post.

Has this issue been resolved yet?
