Can anyone tell me what is the point of the "moderated" status for comments in the admin panel? If I set comment to "moderated" status, it still shows up on the site. I thought that "moderated" would mean that the comment is pending approval and not yet authorized by admin for publishing.

And...how do change default new comment status from "published" to "moderated", "discard", etc? I have anonymous comments enabled and want to moderate them/approve them manually.
