    log.php

    is it ok to delete log.php inside cache folder (cpanel file manager)??

    If you delete it, the file will just be rewritten again.. It's there for a reason. The question should be what's written to that file and why.

    ok.. so what's written to that file and why?? actually i was curious to know that why these log files needs to be maintained and in which conditions they can help...and what about template caches???

    The log file shouldn't be big. if it is, it means you've broken something in your site. It's an error log. If you read the file you should be able to see what the errors are.

    Like Chuckroast said, the log file shouldn't be massive. If you want to disable the bug logging, then open up config.php and comment out line 14 like this:

    i just commented that line and hope i'll not get huge log files now
