Hi,

I am running 8 pligg site (alexa 30,000 to 50,000) on the following dedi:
8 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E31230 @ 3.20GHz
8 GB RAM

All sites are on version 1.2 (some of the themes are not for 1.2 but there is the same problem when I run all sites on wistie)

I have tried to reduce the request to the mySQL database by disabling all widget/modules except:

Captcha
Human Check
SFS Antispam

non of witch cause the problem (I tried to disable them all)

Here are screenshots of the server (there are only the pligg sites on there)

I must say I do not kno what to do sometimes the sites take 30 sec. to load up....

If I cannot find the answer to this problem I will need to do a clean reinstall of all the sites!!!
(do you by any chance know how to keep the usernames + pw active when doing a clean reinstall)

If you have any ideas I would be very thankful!!!!

I have 7 pligg sites (2 Alexa 20000 sites on 1GB VPS) and currently server loading is fine. You just need a few 1GB VPS to host all of your sites.

Pligg script:
Disable tags
Disable groups
Remove spam contents (Remove Spam Content and Inactive Members from Your Database | Pligg CMS)

Server:
Don't use cpanel which consumes your ram.
Install eAccelerator or APC (mmcache Accelerator)
Optimize buffer sizes, table cache, query cache etc. (enable the query cache)
Repair database regularly (myisamchk)
