It just work with Pligg 7. Download the pack from box.net referenced in the thread and follow the instructions there.

SVN the version at http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pl...es/RSS_Import/ using...
Code:
svn co https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pligg/branches/RSS_Import pliggwithrssimport
... and then upload this version somewhere to test it. Check the readme file in the RSS directory.

I didn't test it but I saw that ashdigg made some very recent modifications to the code there.

Note that THIS version doesn't look like being the Pligg 8 one so using just the files of RSS may not work.

Check also if /home/clients/client/site/html/pligg/libs/qeip_0_3.ph really exists where it should be.

Best,

Lopo
That branch has been merged with the trunk and is no longer being updated. The trunk contains the latest code.

franklin, did you right click and go to tortoisesvn > export? When it asks for a URL use this one https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pligg/trunk

Hi kbeeveer46,

Thank you so much for your answering my question. I did this as you said but I use import instead of export. ( tortoisesvn --> import ). I guessed did the wrong operation because this is the first time I use tortoisesvn. I'll give you a feedback after I try it later.

Thank again.

Franklin

I'm a little bit puzzled
  1. Pligg from SVN trunk is updated and installed.
  2. New feed was added and it really exists.
  3. ERROR returned on http://test.mypliggsite.tld/rss/import_feeds.php

What exactly are you doing to create that error? Is it on a specific page? Can you post or PM me your site so I can take a look?

2. Is it compatible with pligg 8.2
3. When will this be officially be implented into the next version of pligg?

very good script
i have alot of suggestions :
1.adding a predefined rss field setting and adding it to a drop down menu under feed url field

example : not listed here , wordpress , blogger , ....... this is the drop down menu content

2.when member register he will add his site name and url .. and his rss url and ask him if he want to share his topics here
and if he said yes .. admin must approve it before the link automatically added to rss importer links
