I have a problem with the characters Ñ and "´"

Hello! My english is very bad because I´m spanish and i don´t learn yet.

My problem is that when i showing the letter "ñ" and the "´" (coma) in the beta version of pligg.

Umm... I posted a picture so that they understand to me better:

explicame como almacenaste la ñ

la pusiste en el archivo de lengiaje directamente o la cambiaste por el panel del admin y en languaje change.> si lo hiciste en el archivo el navegador no interpreta ese caracter como valido ya que en UTF-8 la ñ es ñ cualquier duda contactame en mensaje privado.

Did you edit your lang file directly or true the admin panel? if you edit the file directly the browser will not understand it as a valid because the equal value for Ñ un utf-8 is ñ.

I have same problem, my pligg is in português language....www.pligg.com.br .... I updated for beta 9 and all storys.... ->>

example of problem:

".. Voc�, consumidor, j� foi enganado? J� comprou ''gato por lebre''? Assinou contratos que n�o..."

It's going to be hard to find out what character is causing the problem if the forum can't even show it lol

Even though the language is Spanish it's the same exact problem for all languages that are using anything more than upper & lowercase English alphabet.
Trying to fix a few letters won't work it seems like in the latest version of Pligg it was made to try to convert any letter that's not abcdef etc...
It just has to be made UTF-8 friendly & realize other languages need it to stop trying to convert letters.

Olney, most of the UTF-8 problems have been fixed since beta 9. try out the nightly build in the current version forum if you want to test it out for us.
